DTC Shopify Designer (UI/UX & CRO)

About the role

A client is looking for a DTC Shopify Designer with strong UI/UX and CRO skills, with hands-on experience designing and building for DTC brands on Shopify. The designer creates and optimizes the pages that drive revenue, such as landing pages, product pages, collection pages, cart experiences and quiz funnels, and turns insights about shopper friction into design solutions and CRO tests.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and optimize landing pages, product pages, collection pages and cart experiences in Shopify
• Design pages for bundles, subscriptions, upsells and promotional offers
• Design and optimize quiz funnels that guide shoppers to the right product
• Design landing pages that match paid ad creative and offers
• Identify UX issues and conversion opportunities, analyze user journeys and funnels, and review heatmaps and session recordings
• Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs, and improve navigation, layouts, CTAs, forms and page structure
• Develop CRO hypotheses, plan and run A/B tests, create design variations, and measure results
• Work with developers to implement design changes and design email campaigns, flows and other marketing assets
• Use AI tools to speed up research, ideation, design and CRO workflows

Required profile

• Hands-on experience designing for DTC brands on Shopify, with a portfolio of live Shopify work
• 2+ years of UI/UX experience
• Background at a Shopify Plus agency, CRO agency, Klaviyo or email agency, or in-house at a DTC brand
• Proven experience increasing conversions for DTC e-commerce brands
• Understanding of DTC offer mechanics (bundles, subscriptions, upsells, discounts)
• Excellent English communication; highly analytical and creative

Required skills

• Building and editing pages directly in Shopify and with page builders (Replo, Shogun, GemPages, PageFly or similar)
• Figma, wireframing and prototyping
• UX principles, responsive and mobile-first design, strong visual hierarchy
• Conversion optimization, A/B testing, funnel analysis and analytics
• Nice to have: Shopify Plus, Shopify Liquid, quiz funnel tools, Klaviyo, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Hotjar, VWO, HTML/CSS, paid traffic landing page design
