E-Commerce Catalog Specialist (Shopify)

About the role

J.B. Saeed Home & Hardware, an importer, wholesaler and retailer of architectural hardware, kitchenware, bathroom accessories and household products established in 1933, is hiring an E-Commerce Catalog Specialist in Karachi (DHA Phase 6). The role manages data entry, inventory records and the Shopify e-commerce product catalogue. It is a full-time, on-site position with a market-competitive salary based on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records, stock transfers and product data, and coordinate with warehouse and internal teams.
• Upload, update and manage products on Shopify, including descriptions, specifications, pricing, SKUs and variants.
• Organize product categories, collections and listings for easy navigation.
• Edit, retouch, resize and optimize product images using Adobe Photoshop.
• Manage bulk product uploads and updates via Shopify CSV files.
• Prepare inventory and data reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Manage and update product catalogues across multiple online marketplaces, keeping data accurate and up to date.
• Use PIM systems to maintain consistent product data, and prepare, validate and import large volumes of product data via bulk CSV or Excel feeds.
• Create and optimize SEO-friendly product listings and monitor listing performance.
• Coordinate with marketing and procurement teams and ensure compliance with platform policies.

Required profile

• Prior experience in data entry and e-commerce catalogue management.
• Practical Shopify experience in product uploading and catalogue maintenance.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for product image editing.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization and multitasking, able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Retail, hardware or e-commerce experience is an advantage.
