About the role

We are seeking a remote Economics Researcher to join a leading technology and internet company. The role involves applying advanced quantitative methods to analyze market trends, pricing strategies, and competitive dynamics, providing insights that shape high‑impact business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement economic models to evaluate market and pricing dynamics.
• Develop, test, and validate statistical and econometric models using large‑scale datasets.
• Extract and manipulate data from databases using SQL.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate economic insights into actionable strategies.
• Publish technical reports and present findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Stay current with advances in economic theory, computational methods, and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in econometrics, time‑series analysis, and quantitative research methods.
• Experience working with large datasets and conducting rigorous economic analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex findings.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, fully remote environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in R, Python, or Stata for statistical modeling.
