Electrical Engineer – AI Model Evaluation Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer who enjoys precise technical work and problem‑solving to help improve advanced AI language models. You will join SME Careers, an AI data‑services company, to evaluate and refine AI‑generated content on electrical‑engineering topics.

Key responsibilities

• Assess AI‑generated responses for technical accuracy, logical soundness, completeness, and clarity across electrical‑engineering domains.
• Challenge language models with realistic scenarios, calculations, and standards‑based tasks.
• Review and improve prompts, model explanations, and step‑by‑step solutions, ensuring correct math, units, and assumptions.
• Provide structured feedback identifying factual errors, unsafe recommendations, missing constraints, or incomplete reasoning.
• Help define communication standards for technical EE content, emphasizing safety, compliance, and real‑world feasibility.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional electrical‑engineering experience in areas such as power systems, power electronics, controls, embedded or digital design, EMI/EMC, or testing.
• Strong knowledge of circuit analysis, electronics, electromagnetics, signals & systems, and safe engineering practices.
• Comfort with engineering calculations, unit consistency, and defensible reasoning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
