Electrical Engineer – Design & Procurement Support (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide design and procurement support for power and energy infrastructure projects. The position is remote and reports to senior engineering staff, offering a structured career path in engineering design, project coordination, and international procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and submit technical proposals, compliance statements and bid documents.
• Draft technical correspondence such as letters, RFQs and specifications.
• Interpret single‑line diagrams, electrical drawings, datasheets and project specifications.
• Develop detailed equipment schedules, bills of quantity (BOQs) and technical comparison sheets.
• Identify and evaluate manufacturers and suppliers, obtain and assess quotations.
• Review catalogs, datasheets, type‑test reports and technical drawings for compliance.
• Assist in cost estimation and bid pricing.
• Coordinate technical queries with suppliers and customers.
• Support procurement activities, including contract execution, equipment inspection and documentation management.
• Prepare regular progress reports and maintain comprehensive engineering records.
