Electrical Technician Diesel Generator

About the role

Synergy is seeking a full‑time Electrical Technician to join its on‑site team in Karachi Division. The successful candidate will ensure reliable operation of diesel generators and related electrical systems through maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service and technical support during field visits.
• Handle on‑site installation, electrical repair, and routine maintenance within the assigned territory.
• Conduct client demonstrations when required.
• Diagnose electrical faults, perform root‑cause analysis and implement appropriate solutions.
• Prepare detailed service reports, work orders, expense reports and timesheets.
• Coordinate with technical team members and keep management updated.
• Evaluate products for maintenance, warranty and upgrade purposes.
• Collaborate to resolve complex technical issues and advise on unsuitable equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure proper equipment upkeep.

Required profile

• Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical.
• 2–3 years of experience in After‑Sales Maintenance (ASM).
• Strong hands‑on experience with genset troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Field service experience preferred.

• Megger testing proficiency.
