Electronics Field Technician – Karachi

About the role

Join Systek, an R&D‑driven electronic engineering company specializing in renewable‑energy products such as UPS, power‑line conditioners, solar hybrid systems and charge controllers. The Electronics Field Technician works on‑site in Karachi, assembling, testing and commissioning power electronics and providing on‑site support for customer installations.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, calibrate and perform functional testing of electronic power systems and sub‑assemblies following work instructions.
• Conduct bench‑level diagnostics, systematic fault isolation and repairs on in‑house and field units, documenting findings and corrective actions.
• Support commissioning and on‑site troubleshooting at customer sites, including installation checks, configuration and performance verification.
• Execute routine preventive maintenance and performance verification of power electronics and battery systems.
• Follow manufacturing quality systems, ESD and electrical safety protocols, and battery‑handling guidelines.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience assembling and testing electronic power systems, power supplies or inverter/charger units.
• Ability to read PCB and wiring diagrams and work with multimeters, oscilloscopes, LCR meters, insulation testers and bench power supplies.
• Proven skill in systematic fault isolation on analog/digital circuitry, power conversion stages and battery‑management interfaces.
• Experience with soldering, cable termination, connector assembly and mechanical fastening.
• Familiarity with basic PLCs, microcontroller‑based control boards and firmware/status indicator troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of lead‑acid and lithium battery technologies, charging algorithms and safe handling procedures.
• Strong documentation habits and ability to work under quality and safety systems.
