Email Marketing Specialist (Remote Contract)

About the role

We’re looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to plan, build, and optimize email campaigns that drive engagement and revenue. You’ll own the full lifecycle from strategy to execution to performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute email marketing campaigns (newsletters, promotions, lifecycle/automated flows).
• Segment audiences and personalize content to improve open, click, and conversion rates.
• A/B test subject lines, content, and send times to optimize performance.
• Manage and grow the email list while ensuring compliance with CAN‑SPAM, GDPR, etc.
• Collaborate with the team to create on‑brand, compelling emails.
• Monitor KPIs (open rate, CTR, conversion, unsubscribe rate) and report on campaign performance.
• Maintain and optimize email automation workflows such as welcome series, cart abandonment, and re‑engagement flows.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team.

Required skills

• 1‑3+ years of experience in email or digital marketing.
• Proficiency with ESPs such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or HubSpot.
• Strong copywriting and basic HTML/CSS skills for email templates.
• Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions.
• Familiarity with segmentation, personalization, and automation best practices.
