English Language Instructor

About the role

The English Language Instructor position is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Karachi. You will design and deliver engaging English lessons that develop learners' reading, writing, listening and speaking skills for academic, professional and everyday communication.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans using appropriate teaching methodologies.
• Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate progress records.
• Collaborate with academic coordinators to align course content with Aptech standards and contribute to curriculum improvement.
• Participate in workshops, training sessions and support learners with exam preparation.
• Promote effective study habits and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Strong English teaching abilities with the capacity to instruct learners at various proficiency levels.
• Education‑related skills such as lesson planning, classroom management and learner assessment.
• Excellent writing skills for creating course materials, assignments and clear feedback.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics or a related field; TEFL, TESOL or CELTA certification is an advantage.
• Fluent spoken and written English with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Experience teaching in a classroom or training environment, preferably with adult or tertiary‑level learners.
• Comfortable using basic IT tools and digital resources to support instruction.
• Professional, reliable and learner‑centered approach with a commitment to an inclusive learning space.
