English Second Language Instructor

About the role

We are looking for an English Second Language Instructor to teach secondary‑level students at Sukkur Academy. The role focuses on developing reading, writing, listening and speaking skills that support students’ preparation for the MDCAT and ECAT examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons for classes 9‑12.
• Create supplementary teaching materials and exam‑focused resources.
• Assess student progress through tests, assignments and provide individualized feedback.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to align English instruction with overall exam preparation strategies.
• Maintain classroom discipline and contribute to academic meetings and student support activities.

Required profile

• Strong background in teaching English as a second language, preferably with TEFL/TESOL certification.
• Experience designing curriculum and lesson plans for secondary‑level learners.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Applied Linguistics or a related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms, motivate students and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
• Clear spoken and written English and familiarity with exam‑oriented teaching.
