ERP Business Development Executive

About the role

Fulcrum Pvt. Limited is hiring a Business Development Executive for its ERP client, based in Karachi. The role covers owning qualified ERP sales opportunities and managing them through to closure, with 3-5 years of experience in ERP business development or SaaS sales within an ERP or consulting firm.

Key responsibilities

• Own qualified ERP sales opportunities and manage the full sales cycle through successful closure.
• Engage decision-makers to understand operational challenges, business priorities and purchasing processes.
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations, sales presentations and proposals for trading, manufacturing, construction and service organizations.
• Lead discovery, requirement-gathering and scope discussions; support process mapping and fit-gap assessments.
• Align proposed functionality and commercial commitments with product capabilities and client expectations.
• Coordinate with development, consulting and implementation teams to validate solution feasibility and ensure a smooth handover.
• Partner with marketing on industry-specific collateral, use cases, campaigns and lead-generation initiatives.
• Represent the company at industry events, webinars and professional forums.
• Monitor competitors and ERP market developments, and share client feedback to inform product improvements.

Required profile

• Demonstrated success in B2B solution selling, negotiation, stakeholder engagement and contract discussions.
• Strong consultative communication, presentation and relationship-management skills.
• Working knowledge and experience of ERP functions such as Finance, Supply Chain, HCM and CRM.
• Ability to collaborate across sales, pre-sales, product and implementation functions.
• An established SME or enterprise network in Karachi and prior ERP product launch or scaling experience are advantages.

Required skills

• Familiarity with cloud ERP and SaaS subscription models.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Zoho or Salesforce.
• Use of proposal and demo tools.
