Excel Analyst (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Excel Analyst to support a global leader in the Information Services industry. The contractor will use advanced Excel techniques to clean, transform, and visualise data, helping business units make data‑driven decisions. This is a contract position with flexible, work‑from‑anywhere arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Extract data from multiple sources and consolidate it into structured Excel workbooks.
• Perform data cleaning, validation and transformation to ensure accuracy.
• Build pivot tables, charts and interactive dashboards to highlight key metrics.
• Analyse trends and generate insights that inform business strategy.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Familiarity with basic statistical analysis techniques.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel – advanced functions, formulas, pivot tables, charts and dashboards.
