Executive Access & Power Operations Engineer

About the role

The Executive Access & Power Operations Engineer is responsible for the operation and maintenance of exchange power plants and Multi‑Service Access Gateways (MSAGs) within PTCL's network. The role ensures reliable power supply, preventive maintenance, and rapid fault resolution to meet network availability KPIs and support uninterrupted telecom services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage operation and maintenance of exchange power plants, rectifiers, battery banks and related power infrastructure.
• Align teams for timely and smart deployment of portable generators at MSAGs to prevent power‑related outages.
• Implement measures to reduce OPEX in power, fuel and repair & maintenance.
• Coordinate Level‑3 support with vendors and handle billing/tariff issues with DESCOs.
• Work with Customer Operations to arrange hardware resources according to business needs.
• Perform continuous monitoring, preventive maintenance and fault resolution to achieve network availability targets.

Required profile

• BE/BS Engineering degree in Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronics or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in power operations or telecom network infrastructure.
• Technical competency in network operations, data analysis and general computer skills.
