Executive Data Center Operations

About the role

PTCL is seeking an Executive Data Center Operations professional to lead the end‑to‑end management of its data centre facilities. The role ensures 24/7 uptime, oversees infrastructure maintenance, and guarantees compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain continuous operation of power, cooling, HVAC, fire suppression, and security systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on UPS, generators, PDUs, CRAC/CRAH units, and BMS.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors, negotiate SLAs, and monitor KPI delivery.
• Lead disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Ensure compliance with TIA‑942, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and internal audit requirements.
• Oversee customer rack and link deployments and manage project execution.

Required profile

• B.E. in Electrical, Electronics (major in electrical power) or Telecom.
• 2–5 years of experience in data centre or facility management.
