Executive VAS – Operations & Maintenance Specialist

About the role

The Executive VAS will support the operation and maintenance of digital and messaging solutions, providing first‑line maintenance (FLM) and fault management for both commercial clients and internal stakeholders. The role focuses on monitoring network performance, meeting service‑level targets and performing proactive system health checks.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain digital & messaging solutions, handling fault management and FLM support.
• Monitor network elements, alarms, tickets, calls and emails to ensure service‑level goals are met.
• Escalate and resolve network faults, perform proactive health checks and generate management reports.
• Apply NOC processes and departmental SOPs consistently.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams, communicating status and resolutions.

Required profile

• B.E. in Computer, Electrical, Electronics, Communication or Telecom engineering.
• 1‑2 years of relevant experience in operations, maintenance or fault management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems positively and drive results.
• Professional attitude to promote the department and technology portfolio.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of VAS A2P messaging platforms and end‑to‑end call flows.
• Understanding of SMPP, TCP/IP and signaling protocols.
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Zabbix.
• Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and databases.
