Executive Web Engineer – MyZongApp (Proactive Pipeline)

About the role

The Executive Web Engineer will lead the design and development of a wide range of web applications and micro‑service APIs for MyZongApp, driving the evolution of a Super App platform with AI‑enhanced features and modular services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and evolve the MyZongApp architecture to support Super App capabilities, including modular services, mini‑apps and partner integrations.
• Integrate AI capabilities such as Zong AI Assistant, recommendations, predictive insights and automation.
• Build intelligent customer journeys using behavioral analytics and personalization engines.
• Design, implement and release high‑quality, scalable web applications on the Microsoft technology stack using .NET Core.
• Create and direct software testing procedures, documentation and quality‑assurance activities.
• Participate in requirements gathering, analysis and collaborate with functional teams to produce software design and architecture.
• Write clean, scalable code in .NET languages and maintain existing applications.
• Test, deploy, refactor and debug applications, ensuring performance and security.
• Evaluate new code for architecture stability, reusability, performance, automation and security.
• Supervise programmers, engineers and technicians to ensure quality work and adherence to standards.
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or Software Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 4+ years of experience designing and developing web applications or micro‑service APIs.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to interact with all staff levels.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members.
