Expert Digital Communications

About the role

The Expert Digital Communications role is a fast‑paced, creative position responsible for producing high‑impact, platform‑native content for JazzWorld’s social media channels, including the Digital Pakistan platform. The role translates business priorities, technology developments and emerging digital trends into engaging stories while managing an always‑on content engine and a network of creators.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative content ideas and campaigns aligned with company strategy and brand identity.
• Contribute to editorial direction of Digital Pakistan covering technology news, AI, fintech, and the digital economy.
• Build and manage an always‑on content calendar that blends planned campaigns with timely, trend‑led pieces.
• Lead a network of short‑term creators, assigning briefs, reviewing output and ensuring consistent quality and delivery.
• Produce user‑generated content formats and creator‑led campaigns to boost relevance and organic engagement.
• Write and edit social media copy, video scripts, reels, explainers, interviews and other short‑form assets.
• Collaborate with designers, editors, agencies and external partners to take content from concept to publication.
• Monitor social media trends, platform updates and audience conversations to identify timely content opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in social media, digital content, creative communications or platform management.
• Proven track record developing and executing social‑first content on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube.
• Experience managing content creators, agencies or cross‑functional creative teams.
• Strong portfolio showcasing digital campaigns, short‑form video, trend‑led or creator‑led work, preferably covering technology or digital‑economy topics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI tools for research, ideation, scripting, content adaptation and performance analysis.
• Use of AI‑enabled social listening to surface trends and content opportunities.
• Video production skills including scripting, storyboarding, shooting and post‑production workflows.
• Expertise in publishing on major social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube).
