Export Agent

About the role

Al Rehmat Rice Traders is seeking a full‑time Export Agent to manage daily export operations from its Gujranwala hub. You will act as the primary liaison between customers, shipping lines, freight forwarders and internal teams to ensure smooth, compliant shipments of rice to international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and verify export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists and certificates of origin.
• Coordinate ocean shipments with carriers, freight forwarders and transport providers, track cargo status and resolve logistics issues.
• Communicate order confirmations, shipment updates and respond to customer inquiries.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, support rate negotiations and collaborate with internal departments to meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with customers, carriers and internal teams.
• Customer‑service orientation with the ability to handle issues professionally.
• Basic knowledge of ocean freight terms, schedules and export regulations.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities to manage multiple shipments.
• Ability to work on‑site in Gujranwala and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic office software (spreadsheets, email, document preparation).
• Experience with logistics or ERP systems is an advantage.
