Export Documentation and Customs Clearance Specialist

About the role

Grj Agriculture and Livestock is seeking an Export Documentation and Customs Clearance Specialist to manage end‑to‑end export customs procedures and documentation for shipments departing from Karachi. The role requires close coordination with customs authorities, shipping lines, freight forwarders and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant export movements.

Key responsibilities

• Handle complete export customs clearance and prepare all required documents (GD, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, etc.).
• Liaise with customs officials, port authorities, terminal operators and shipping companies.
• Coordinate container bookings, gate‑in schedules, vessel cut‑offs and shipment tracking.
• Obtain necessary permits, approvals and authorizations from government agencies.
• Arrange inspections with customs, quarantine and other regulatory bodies when required.
• Monitor compliance with Pakistan Customs and port regulations, resolving any clearance issues or documentation discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of export shipments, container movements and related expenses.
• Work closely with finance, operations and export teams to ensure seamless shipment execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in export clearing, freight forwarding, customs clearance or export documentation.
• Strong knowledge of Pakistan Customs procedures, WeBOC, PSW, Karachi Port, Port Qasim, QICT and SAPT operations.
• Proven experience coordinating with shipping lines, freight forwarders, clearing agents and government regulatory authorities.
