Factory Head

About the role

Diamond Foam is seeking a dynamic Factory Head to lead end‑to‑end manufacturing operations at its Phool Nagar facility. The role involves overseeing production, maintenance, quality, warehouse and dispatch functions while driving efficiency, cost optimisation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall factory operations, including Production, Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse and Dispatch.
• Develop and execute production plans to meet business and customer requirements.
• Optimise utilisation of manpower, machinery, materials and other factory resources.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Monitor operational KPIs such as production efficiency, waste reduction, machine uptime, quality and OTIF delivery.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, HSE standards and regulatory requirements.
• Plan preventive and corrective maintenance to maximise equipment uptime.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, HR and Commercial teams for seamless operations.
• Manage factory budgets, operational costs and improvement plans.
• Build, mentor and develop high‑performing departmental leadership teams.
• Present performance reports and strategic improvement plans to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10–15 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years in a Factory Head or Plant Head leadership role.
• Proven expertise in production planning, lean manufacturing, quality systems and operational management.
• Strong leadership, analytical, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience managing large, multi‑functional teams.
