About the role
The Faculty Support Associate provides full‑time administrative and secretarial assistance to faculty members. The role balances communication, seminar and travel coordination, student interaction, and office operations to ensure smooth departmental functioning.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and circulate emails, announcements, minutes, and reports.
- Arrange and coordinate seminars, lectures, and related marketing materials.
- Plan and book local and international travel for faculty, securing approvals from the Dean’s Office.
- Handle student queries, complaints, and requests, escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain organized departmental files, committee records, and generate reports on demand.
- Ensure timely delivery of office supplies and oversee general office upkeep.
- Assist faculty with research material collection and finalising course outlines and packages.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s (honours) or Master’s degree from an HEC‑recognised institute.
- Up to 2 years of experience in a coordination or support role.
- Trustworthy, discreet, proactive, service‑oriented, and detail‑oriented.
- Adaptable, flexible, strong communicator and team player.
Required skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
- Proficient use of Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook.
- Familiarity with standard office equipment.
