Fashion Designer (Western & Modest Collections)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Fashion Designer to lead the creation of western‑inspired, modest women’s collections. You will work closely with production and merchandising teams to turn trend research into commercially viable designs that reflect Sowears’ brand identity.

Key responsibilities

• Research global fashion trends, colors, fabrics and silhouettes to develop unique, market‑ready designs.
• Create design concepts, mood boards and seasonal collections that balance style, modesty and functionality.
• Produce technical sketches, tech packs and detailed specifications for production.
• Collaborate with production and merchandising teams to ensure timely execution of collections.
• Select and source fabrics, trims and embellishments, overseeing sample development and fit quality.
• Work with the marketing team to align product designs with seasonal campaigns.
• Monitor competitor offerings and consumer preferences to keep the brand competitive.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Fashion Designer, preferably in women’s wear (modest or western fashion).
• Strong sense of colour, fabric and silhouette selection.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
