Fashion Designer - Women's Clothing

About the role

WW Textiles (PVT) LTD, a manufacturer of women's clothing specializing in contemporary and traditional apparel, is hiring a Fashion Designer to work on-site in Faisalabad in a full-time capacity. The designer develops designs for women's clothing collections from concept to finished product.

Key responsibilities

• Research trends and sketch design ideas
• Select fabrics and trims
• Collaborate with sampling and production teams to ensure accurate garment construction and fitting
• Create detailed technical specifications and oversee embroidery and other embellishments
• Review prototypes for style, comfort and quality
• Coordinate with merchandising and sales teams so collections match market demand and brand identity
• Maintain production timelines and quality standards

Required profile

• Strong fashion design skills, including trend research, sketching and concept development
• Knowledge of textiles and embroidery, with the ability to choose appropriate fabrics and decorative techniques
• Proficiency in fitting, with experience in garment draping, pattern adjustments and sizing
• Relevant education in Fashion Design, Textile Design or a related field; professional experience in women's apparel design is preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively and manage several projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Use of design tools such as Adobe Illustrator and CAD software
• Creating clear technical drawings and style sheets
