Finance Business Partner & Cost Controller

About the role

This position provides finance business partnering and cost control expertise to senior leaders. You will deliver financial insights, forecasts and performance analysis that enable data‑driven decisions and support strategic initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted finance business partner to leaders across business units, offering insight, challenge and support in decision‑making.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and planning processes in close collaboration with the wider FP&A function.
• Prepare and present financial analysis, management reporting and performance commentary for business and finance stakeholders.
• Analyse results, identify drivers, explain variances and highlight risks and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain cost‑controlling activities across entities and services.
• Challenge assumptions, support business cases and contribute to profitability‑enhancing initiatives.
• Work with leaders to understand commercial developments, operational drivers and financial implications.
• Ensure consistency between management reporting, planning assumptions and accounting outcomes.
• Support preparation of presentations and financial materials for senior‑management discussions.
• Contribute to the evolution of FP&A processes, reporting standards and performance‑management tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field.
• Strong finance background with solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Relevant experience in FP&A, business partnering or controlling, preferably in a complex corporate environment.
• Good accounting knowledge and ability to connect planning, reporting and accounting outcomes.
• Ideally experience from a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate results into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Hands‑on, structured working style with high ownership and attention to detail.
