Finance Director

About the role

Roche is seeking a Finance Director to act as a strategic partner and advisor for its Pakistan affiliate. The role combines financial governance, commercial tendering, pricing, procurement and supply‑chain oversight to drive business performance and support the delivery of medicines to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and execute a local finance strategy aligned with global requirements and affiliate priorities.
• Lead commercial tendering, pricing strategies and transfer‑pricing compliance for the full product portfolio.
• Oversee finance, accounting, procurement and supply‑chain functions ensuring adherence to Roche Group standards, local regulations and tax/customs rules.
• Provide analytical insight, financial modelling and business judgment to support strategic and tactical initiatives.
• Manage operational performance, track targets, identify anomalies and implement corrective actions.
• Coach and develop a high‑performing finance team while fostering a culture of personal development.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of finance experience, preferably with a professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACA, CIMA) or an MBA.
• Proven record of financial governance, strategic decision‑making and leading large‑scale projects.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence across functions.
• Demonstrated integrity, ethical conduct and a collaborative mindset.
