Finance Executive

About the role

Nysonian is seeking a Finance Executive to support accurate financial accounting, month‑end close, and reporting for its fast‑growing lifestyle brands. The role involves maintaining the general ledger, performing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the General Ledger, journal entries, and chart of accounts integrity.
• Execute month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities, including accruals, provisions, depreciation and pre‑payments.
• Prepare and review balance‑sheet and control‑account reconciliations, investigating variances.
• Produce reporting schedules and accounting inputs for management reporting and variance analysis.
• Manage bank reconciliations, supplier balances, fixed‑asset records and inter‑company transactions.
• Support internal and external audits, enforce finance policies and proactively flag control gaps.
• Maintain ERP data, drive process standardisation, automation and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field; professional qualification a plus.
• 4–6 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, General Ledger, R2R or financial accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, double‑entry bookkeeping, accruals, provisions and balance‑sheet controls.
• Proven experience with ERP and financial reporting systems and exposure to audit processes.
• Advanced analytical abilities with strong variance‑analysis and reconciliation skills.
• High accountability, attention to detail and ability to challenge unsupported entries.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills, able to meet tight reporting deadlines.
