Finance Expert

About the role

The Finance Expert will support the Portfolio/Corporate Development function by monitoring and analysing the financial and commercial performance of the Group's portfolio companies. The role provides high‑quality financial analysis, modelling, due diligence and strategic insights to senior management, shareholders and investment committees.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse financial and commercial performance of portfolio companies, identifying drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Conduct detailed Quality of Earnings, EBITDA, Net Working Capital, Net Debt and cash generation analyses.
• Develop and maintain financial models, cash‑flow forecasts and scenario analyses for business planning and investment decisions.
• Support M&A and corporate development activities, including acquisition assessment, due diligence and preparation of investment papers.
• Prepare high‑quality Board, Shareholder and Investment Committee materials, translating complex analysis into clear conclusions.
• Collaborate with CFOs, senior management and portfolio company leadership to challenge assumptions and drive improvements.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent professional qualification.
• 6–8 years of experience in finance, corporate development or related functions.
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and deliver strategic financial insights.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for modelling and large‑dataset analysis.
• PowerPoint for creating senior‑level presentations.
• Financial modelling and valuation expertise.
