Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a competent, result‑oriented Finance Manager to lead the finance function of a well‑established textile manufacturing organization in Bin Qasim Town, Karachi. The role offers long‑term career growth in a dynamic export‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day finance, accounting, and treasury operations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, budgets, and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Monitor receivables, payables, banking relationships, and working capital.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, accounting standards, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Handle FBR correspondence, notices, audits, and tax‑related matters, ensuring timely responses and regulatory compliance.
• Manage Sales Tax, Income Tax, Withholding Tax and other FBR compliance, including return filings and reconciliations.
• Apply export‑related taxation knowledge, such as sales‑tax refunds, zero‑rating, and export documentation for markets like the US and Canada.
• Coordinate with management on financial planning, cost optimisation, and business performance analysis.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.

Required profile

• ACCA, CA (Finalist/Qualified), MBA Finance or equivalent qualification in Finance or Accounting.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in finance and accounts, preferably in the textile manufacturing/export sector.
• Hands‑on experience with FBR, Sales Tax, Income Tax and export tax matters.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
