Finance Manager – Remote, $100k/year

About the role

You will lead global finance operations through a team of Senior Accountants while staying hands‑on with invoices, payments, reconciliations and allocations. The role blends management responsibility with technical depth, using AI and automation to improve finance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Keep finance operations moving by prioritising work across Senior Accountants based on deadlines, business impact and financial risk.
• Inspect dashboards and outputs to ensure invoices, payments, bank transactions, reconciliations and allocations are accurate and current.
• Diagnose quality failures, identify root causes and write evidence‑based coaching to prevent recurrence.
• Identify and implement AI, LLM and automation opportunities to eliminate manual work and boost speed and accuracy.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance and a professional qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience with at least five Big 4 audits, either as auditor or client.
• Finance experience in an organization with $100M+ revenue and people‑management responsibility.
• Hands‑on experience across AP, AR, bank reconciliations and revenue/spend allocation.

Required skills

• AI and large‑language‑model integration in finance workflows.
• Automation tools such as n8n, Lovable, Claude Code or similar platforms.
• Advanced accounting operations (AP, AR, reconciliations, allocations).
