Financial Analyst – Cash Application

About the role

As a Financial Analyst in the Finance Operations team, you will manage cash application activities across assigned markets. You will post and reconcile incoming payments, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with internal partners to resolve issues while continuously improving processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cash application activities and match customer invoices with cash remittances.
• Investigate and allocate unallocated payments, ensuring correct account posting.
• Follow up on missing remittances and resolve customer queries.
• Resolve disputes with LOC, CS&L, and CTC teams.
• Execute Feban/Purge processes for advance customers.
• Calculate monthly unallocated/unapplied KPIs.
• Provide backup support for other MEA hub markets.
• Perform market‑specific controls and obtain review from the line manager.
• Assist G8 team members with month‑end closing activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in cash application, accounts receivable, or finance operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial records.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
