Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will own the full P&L for multiple regional areas, driving financial planning, forecasting and compliance. Working closely with area General Managers and business partners, you will ensure accurate financial insight and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage local P&L for all regional areas.
• Develop short‑ and long‑term financial plans and forecasts based on market competition, activation outlook and new launches.
• Handle terms & conditions, target setting and issuance of offer letters for customers.
• Oversee investment forecasting, scheme analysis and compliance monitoring.
• Lead distributor reconciliations and ensure timely full‑and‑final settlements.
• Onboard direct and associate distributors after thorough financial due diligence.
• Coordinate external due‑diligence agencies, review reports and flag risks.
• Analyse distributor ROI quarterly and recommend incentive adjustments.
• Plan and execute periodic distributor audits, resolve findings with business managers.
• Approve purchase orders for the area and country.
• Manage local credit with customers and promote a strong compliance culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of finance experience with strong business partnering, sales planning, reporting and controls.
• Fluent English with solid presentation abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACA, CMA) or MBA strongly preferred.
• Hands‑on, proactive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Proven analytical capability and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in consumer or handset business is a plus.
