Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead finance and accounting across a diversified, multi‑entity organization. You will shape financial strategy, ensure accurate reporting, and partner with senior leadership to drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end and year‑end close, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting for multiple business units.
• Consolidate financial results across retail, fuel, QSR, financing, metal recycling and other operations.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, working capital, treasury activities and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Establish accounting policies, SOPs and internal controls to meet compliance and audit requirements.
• Drive ERP optimisation, automation, reporting enhancements and data‑integrity initiatives.
• Mentor and develop the finance team while collaborating with Operations, HR, Procurement and senior executives.

Required profile

• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CMA or equivalent.
• 10‑12 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience in multi‑entity accounting, consolidation and treasury.
• Background in retail‑related sectors (fuel, C‑store, QSR, food, financing, metal recycling) is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Hands‑on ERP experience (PDI or similar).
