Financial Software Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Software Engineer to join a global fintech leader and help build a high‑scale financial platform. The role is fully remote and focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining micro‑services that process real‑time financial transactions with strict compliance and reliability requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy micro‑services for financial transaction processing.
• Optimize system performance to handle high‑frequency data streams with low latency.
• Implement security measures and compliance checks for financial data handling.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate payment gateways and APIs.
• Monitor system health and resolve production issues in a 24/7 environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in distributed systems, concurrency, and fault‑tolerant architecture.
• Background in financial infrastructure and real‑time payment processing.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a globally distributed team.

Required skills

• Python, Java, or Go.
• RESTful APIs or gRPC.
• Knowledge of ISO 20022, SWIFT, or other real‑time payment protocols.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
