Financial Software Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Software Engineer to join a global fintech leader and help build a high‑scale financial platform. The role is fully remote and focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining micro‑services that process real‑time transactions with strict compliance and reliability requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy micro‑services for financial transaction processing.
• Optimize system performance for high‑frequency, low‑latency data streams.
• Implement security controls and compliance checks for financial data.
• Integrate payment gateways and external APIs in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Monitor system health and resolve production incidents in a 24/7 environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience building scalable backend services for financial systems.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and fault tolerance.
• Familiarity with financial messaging standards such as ISO 20022 or SWIFT.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
