Fire Sprinkler Fabrication & Coordination Engineer

About the role

The Fire Sprinkler Fabrication & Coordination Engineer creates detailed shop drawings and fabrication plans for fire sprinkler systems, ensuring they integrate smoothly with HVAC, structural and other building trades. The role combines design expertise with hands‑on coordination throughout the fabrication and installation phases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop accurate shop drawings and fabrication plans for fire sprinkler systems.
• Coordinate with HVAC, structural and other trade teams to resolve design conflicts and align project schedules.
• Design and detail sprinkler layouts using AutoSPRINK software.
• Integrate 3D scan data with Autodesk ReCap when required.
• Review project specifications to ensure compliance with industry codes and standards.
• Provide technical support during fabrication and installation.
• Maintain documentation of design changes, coordination meetings and fabrication schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• 2–3 years of experience in fire sprinkler design, fabrication or coordination.
• Strong coordination and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoSPRINK (mandatory).
• Familiarity with Autodesk ReCap (preferred).
• Knowledge of fire protection systems, fabrication processes and relevant industry standards.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
