First Officer

About the role

The First Officer monitors flight progress, assists the Captain, and ensures safety, security and efficiency throughout each flight in compliance with airline manuals and civil aviation regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Pilot Flying or Pilot Monitoring, managing flight deck tasks and monitoring aircraft performance.
• Coordinate with Captain and Dispatch before each flight, reviewing technical status, route, weather, fuel and weight.
• Perform pre‑flight checks, record take‑off data, fuel requirements and flight plans, and supervise fuelling when needed.
• Alert the Captain to any irregularities and assist with emergency procedures.
• Complete required documentation such as log books, voyage reports and safety reports.

Required profile

• Valid ATPL license or CPL with frozen ATPL.
• Minimum 1,500 flight hours, preferably on Airbus A320.
• Experience with low‑cost airlines and knowledge of aircraft systems and operating procedures.
• Ability to handle safety, security or QA roles as required.
• Strong analytical, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• ATPL / CPL licensing.
• Proficiency with Airbus A320 systems.
• Competence in using aircraft operational software and Microsoft Office.
