Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer you will lead end‑to‑end implementations of Zentallio’s AI‑native ERP and decision‑platform for multi‑location retail, F&B and fashion clients. You will work closely with client finance, operations and store teams to configure, test and roll out modules such as POS, Inventory, HR, Production and Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Gather client requirements, document functional specifications and configure system settings from data migration through UAT to go‑live.
• Map existing financial and inventory workflows (COGS, stock valuation, month‑end close) onto Zentallio’s platform and propose solutions for gaps.
• Own the technical and functional relationship with mid‑to‑large retail clients, acting as the primary on‑site engineer during rollout and stabilization.
• Configure and validate costing methods, tax rules, GL mappings and inventory logic to ensure accurate post‑go‑live reconciliation.
• Train client teams, hand over to Support and contribute to internal implementation playbooks.
• Relay real‑world client feedback to Product and Engineering to influence the product roadmap.

Required profile

• Up to 5 years of experience in ERP implementation, financial systems consulting or a client‑facing technical role.
• MBA (Finance) or ACCA/CA (part‑qualified or qualified) with solid accounting fundamentals.
• Background in finance, audit or financial systems is a strong plus.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and work directly with retail/F&B/fashion operations teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
