Foundation & Pathway Faculty – English EAP/DEL

About the role

The position involves delivering English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and Discipline English Language (DEL) programmes across foundation and pathway levels. The faculty member will work with NCUK and NCC curricula to support learners in developing academic English proficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver NCUK‑approved IFY curriculum and assess coursework according to NCUK moderation standards.
• Deliver NCC‑accredited IFD EAP/DEL curriculum, including structured DEL instruction.
• Track learner progress against qualification board benchmarks.
• Design and assess EAP assessments, building academic literacy and study skills.
• Teach general and academic English proficiency, covering reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in English, Applied Linguistics, TESOL or related field preferred.
• PGCE, CELTA/DELTA or TEFL/TESOL certification advantageous.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience in foundation, pathway, or academic English programmes.
• Ability to teach across multiple curricula and adapt delivery for IFY, IFD, EAP and DEL learners.
• Training with NCC Education or NCUK centres is a plus.
