Founding Finance Manager (Remote)

About the role

This is the first dedicated finance position for a fast‑growing portfolio of software companies. You will build the finance function from the ground up, working directly with the founder on high‑impact decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and improve accounting structures, chart of accounts, and reporting lines for existing, new, and acquired entities.
• Set up and clean up books for early‑stage companies, ensuring clear separation of business lines.
• Build profit‑and‑loss reports by company, app, and business line, including revenue, costs, CAC/LTV, ROI, and performance trends.
• Run month‑end close, reconciliations, inter‑company balances, allocations, and recurring reporting across multiple entities.
• Investigate accounting anomalies, mis‑allocated expenses, missing records, and potential fraud.
• Support acquisition diligence, target analysis, seller number verification, scenario modeling, and post‑acquisition performance tracking.

Required profile

• 1–4 years of relevant experience, ideally Big 4 audit or strong US‑accounting exposure; exceptional fresh graduates also considered.
• Highly analytical, proactive, and comfortable handling judgment‑heavy, problem‑solving tasks.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
