Fraud and Risk Agent

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Fraud and Risk Agent to monitor transactions in real time, investigate suspicious activity, and help strengthen our anti‑fraud defenses. The role works in shifts, including nights and weekends, and collaborates closely with multiple internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor live transactions using internal and third‑party fraud detection tools.
• Investigate potential fraud cases such as account takeovers, identity theft, and chargebacks.
• Analyze fraud trends and assist in creating rules and prevention strategies.
• Escalate complex or high‑impact incidents to senior analysts or relevant departments.
• Work with customer support, compliance, engineering, and legal teams to improve processes.
• Prepare timely reports on fraud incidents, resolutions, and risk trends.
• Stay updated on fraud typologies, KYC/AML regulations, and industry best practices.
• Respond to inquiries from payment processors and financial institutions regarding disputes.
• Suggest enhancements to policies, workflows, and automation tools.

Required profile

• 0‑1 years of experience in fraud detection, risk management, payments, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and investigative abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.
