Full Stack Engineer (Insurance)

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help build Aiden Risk’s AI‑native insurance platform. You will work on both backend services and modern web applications, delivering high‑performance, secure solutions that power submissions, renewals, endorsements and customer communications across commercial insurance lines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js with a focus on performance and clean architecture.
• Create and document RESTful APIs for frontend consumption and third‑party integrations.
• Build responsive web applications with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
• Design database schemas, write efficient queries and ensure data integrity across SQL and NoSQL stores.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization and API access controls.
• Integrate external services such as payment gateways and fintech APIs.
• Collaborate on system architecture decisions and contribute to technical design reviews.
• Debug production issues, optimise performance and improve system reliability.
• Write clean, well‑tested code and participate in code reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional full‑stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience with the MERN stack.
• Proven ability to build backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js.
• Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
