General Manager – Telecom (Near East)

About the role

The General Manager for the Near East will lead the telecom business across operators, distributors and retail customers. You will be responsible for driving profitable revenue growth, shaping channel strategies and ensuring operational excellence in a dynamic market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with operators, distributors and retail customers in the territory.
• Support regional business development aligned with global HMD strategy.
• Deliver volume, share and profit targets per channel and account.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts to enable effective inventory and supply management.
• Design and execute distribution and channel strategies to achieve balanced coverage.
• Lead strategic partner relationships and deliver market insights.
• Create and implement country or regional retail sales and marketing plans.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with partners and assess partnership health.
• Coach, develop and retain a high‑performing sales and marketing team.

• Proven experience leading large, diverse sales and marketing teams in the telecom sector.
• Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities.
