Global Technical Lead – Women's Apparel

About the role

The Global Technical Lead will turn design concepts into prototypes and bulk production for women’s apparel, ensuring fit, style, quality and measurement consistency. This senior position works closely with vendors, design, product development and technical teams across the globe.

Key responsibilities

• Execute design concepts from prototype through bulk production while maintaining fit, quality and construction standards.
• Develop, modify and evaluate patterns using manual and CAD tools, including grading, flat sketching and Illustrator.
• Create and maintain Tech Packs, measurement specifications and related technical documentation.
• Conduct fit sessions with live models, diagnose issues and implement pattern or specification updates.
• Partner with vendors and internal teams to communicate fit, pattern, construction and quality requirements.
• Travel to vendor locations as needed to support fit development and production readiness.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in women’s fit development for non‑denim and denim woven products.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, pattern engineering, fabrics, washes and finishing.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities against calendar‑driven deadlines.

Required skills

• Manual and computer‑aided patternmaking and grading.
• Proficiency in PLM, Excel and Gerber; experience with CLO or other 3D applications preferred.
• Flat sketching and Adobe Illustrator drawing.
• Creation of Tech Packs and measurement specifications.
