Graphic Designer, SEO & Content Writer Intern

About the role

Open DevSol, an IT and services firm in Islamabad, is looking for a Graphic Designer, SEO & Content Writer Intern to join its digital marketing team. This full‑time internship provides hands‑on experience creating visual assets, writing and optimizing content, and supporting SEO campaigns for both client and in‑house projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design social media graphics, banners, simple infographics and presentation slides following brand guidelines.
• Write clear, engaging blog posts, web copy and social media captions tailored to target audiences.
• Conduct keyword research, optimise meta titles and descriptions, and structure content for on‑page SEO.
• Collaborate with senior designers and marketers, incorporate feedback and maintain asset libraries.
• Assist in tracking basic content performance metrics using analytics tools and suggest improvements.
• Manage assigned tasks, meet deadlines and participate in planning and review sessions.

Required profile

• Proficiency with graphic tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Canva.
• Basic understanding of layout, colour theory, typography and visual hierarchy.
• Strong written English with ability to craft concise blog posts, web copy and social captions.
• Familiarity with on‑page SEO practices including keyword research and meta‑tag optimisation.
• Willingness to learn CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and content publishing workflows.
• Ability to use basic analytics (Google Analytics, Search Console) to interpret performance data.
• Portfolio or sample work demonstrating design pieces and writing samples (class or personal projects accepted).
