Group Head – Internal Audit (Manufacturing)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Group Head of Internal Audit to lead and strengthen the internal audit function of a well‑established manufacturing organization. Reporting directly to the CEO and Board Audit Committee, you will provide independent assurance over governance, risk management, internal controls, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual risk‑based internal audit plan covering finance, operations, procurement, supply chain, inventory, and IT.
• Present audit findings, monitor corrective actions, and enhance internal controls.
• Strengthen governance frameworks, support Enterprise Risk Management, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead fraud investigations, whistleblower reviews, and special assignments.
• Review business processes and recommend practical improvements across manufacturing, finance, procurement, warehousing, logistics, and commercial functions.
• Leverage technology and data analytics to improve audit effectiveness and reporting.
• Build trusted relationships with senior leadership, external auditors, regulators, and the Board Audit Committee while maintaining audit independence.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing internal audit team.

Required profile

• CA, ACCA, ACMA, or CIA qualification (MBA/Master's preferred).
• 15+ years of progressive experience in internal audit, risk management, governance, or compliance.
• At least 5 years leading an internal audit function.
• Experience in manufacturing, textile, FMCG, or similarly complex organizations.
