Guest Service Officer

About the role

The 108 Hotel is a boutique property in the heart of Islamabad offering a concept of casual luxury. It is looking for a full-time, on-site Guest Service Officer to welcome guests, manage check-in and check-out and ensure a smooth, pleasant stay. The role combines guest services with receptionist duties.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and manage check-in and check-out procedures
• Handle reservations and respond to guest inquiries in person, by phone or by email
• Coordinate with housekeeping and food and beverage teams and address service issues promptly and professionally
• Manage the front desk, maintain accurate records, process payments and provide information on hotel facilities and local attractions

Required profile

• Proven customer service skills, including handling inquiries and resolving issues calmly and professionally
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with receptionist duties such as front desk operations, reservations, check-in/check-out and payment processing
• Ability to work on-site in shift-based schedules, including weekends and holidays
• Prior hospitality, front office or guest-facing experience preferred; a diploma or degree in hospitality, tourism or a related field is an advantage
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Urdu and other languages is beneficial
• Locally available candidates are preferred

• Basic computer literacy
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems, or willingness to learn them
• Organizational skills, attention to detail and reliability in handling guest information and financial transactions
