Hardware Test Engineer – Embedded Devices

About the role

As a Hardware Test Engineer at AIO you will join the Test Team to ensure the reliability and quality of AI‑powered embedded devices. You will work hands‑on with hardware prototypes, diagnose PCB‑level issues, and help build automation frameworks and data pipelines that scale our quality processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform functional, performance and stress testing on hardware devices and PCB assemblies.
• Diagnose and debug PCB‑level faults using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers and other lab equipment.
• Develop and maintain Python‑based test automation scripts to streamline repetitive testing workflows.
• Build and maintain data pipelines to collect, process and visualize test results and production quality metrics.
• Identify trends in test data, support root‑cause analysis and contribute to test plan creation.
• Document test results, log defects and collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers on resolutions.
• Support quality control during production runs and participate in audits and inspections.

Required profile

• Solid foundation in electronics, circuits and embedded systems.
• Hands‑on experience with PCB debugging and fault diagnosis.
• Working knowledge of Python for scripting, automation or data analysis.
• Interest in test automation frameworks and repeatable test scripts.
• Familiarity with data analytics concepts such as log parsing, trend plotting and anomaly detection.
• Detail‑oriented, strong communicator and collaborative team player.
