Head of Brand & Corporate Communications

About the role

Raqami Bank is seeking an experienced leader to drive its brand, corporate communications, public relations, content, and marketing communications agenda across retail and SME banking segments.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the bank’s brand and communications strategy in alignment with the overall marketing strategy.
• Ensure consistent application of the brand identity across all channels and customer touchpoints.
• Lead development and execution of marketing campaigns for Retail Banking and SME & Business Banking.
• Manage corporate communications, press releases, announcements and external messaging.
• Develop and oversee content strategy across digital, social media, print and corporate channels.
• Manage relationships with advertising agencies, media partners and communication vendors.
• Drive brand awareness, reputation management and market visibility initiatives.
• Lead media relations and coordinate external communication activities.
• Oversee internal communication programs to strengthen employee engagement.
• Support crisis communication and reputation management when required.
• Lead and develop the Brand & Corporate Communications team.

Required profile

• Minimum 12–15 years of experience in brand management, marketing communications, corporate communications, public relations, media relations and digital marketing.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing brand, communications or marketing functions.
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field; MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
