Head of Quality Assurance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Quality Assurance to lead and scale the QA function across multiple engineering teams at NextGENi. The role involves defining the quality strategy, driving automation, and embedding quality throughout the software development lifecycle while collaborating with engineering, product and client stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall QA strategy, standards and best practices.
• Lead, mentor and grow a high‑performing QA team of 8+ engineers.
• Drive test automation initiatives to improve test coverage and release efficiency.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product and Delivery teams to embed quality in every development stage.
• Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to communicate quality objectives and project progress.
• Establish and track quality metrics, identify risks and implement process improvements.
• Evaluate and adopt modern QA tools, frameworks and AI‑powered testing solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 10–12 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring QA teams of eight engineers or more.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including client‑facing interactions.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
