Head of Record to Report (R2R)

About the role

The Head of Record to Report (R2R) leads the end‑to‑end financial closing, consolidation and reporting function across the organization. Reporting to senior finance leadership, this role ensures compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and corporate policies while driving efficiency and automation through SAP.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement R2R, O2C and related finance strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead SAP FI/CO optimisation initiatives to improve automation, accuracy and reporting speed.
• Standardise accounting policies, procedures and reporting frameworks globally.
• Oversee daily operations of R2R, O2C, taxation, treasury and asset accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations and month‑end close.
• Ensure timely consolidation of financials across business units and geographies.
• Manage compliance with statutory, tax and audit requirements and resolve SAP‑related discrepancies.
• Supervise and develop the finance team, fostering capability and performance excellence.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulators during financial reviews.

Required profile

• 12–15 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Proven track record managing R2R, O2C, taxation, treasury and asset accounting in SAP‑enabled organisations; pharma experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, SOX compliance, internal controls and risk management.
• Strategic thinker with excellent communication, stakeholder management and change‑leadership abilities.
